St Mary’s entered two handball teams into the Ulster Schools’ Competition for the first time in many years today, with two teams of four making the journey to Edmund Rice College Hightown.
The boys enjoyed many very competitive games with great opponents from Edmund Rice College playing with great skill and application.
The team of Shea Burns/Lorcan McCallin and Sé Steele/Odhran O’Kane made it through to the qualifying final and after two highly competitive games, drawn at 1-1 St Mary’s came through with a superior score difference.
The boys can look forward to representing St Mary’s in the Ulster Final on 26th November.
