Online Parent Teacher Meetings

28th September 2021

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s)

re: Year 14 Parent Teacher Meeting – Online Appointment Booking

I am writing to inform you that the Year 14 Parent Teacher Meeting will take place remotely on Tuesday 12th October 2021 from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

In order to keep everyone safe the meetings will be held online. The appointment slots will be five minutes each.

The school has introduced an easy to use online appointment booking system. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and you will receive an email confirming your appointments. We are confident this will be a safe way to meet with your son’s teachers but we welcome feedback on ways we can improve on this method of hosting meetings.

A short guide on how to register and book video call appointments

Firstly, please view the linked video guide, ‘Parent Login Video’ on how to properly register on the system and book appointments with teaching staff.

Parent Login Video

Once you have fully viewed the parental guide video please visit the home website and register for using the system.

Please visit https://stmaryscbgs.schoolcloud.co.uk/ to book your appointments.

Technical Assistance

If you have any technical difficulties, please contact Mr Stephen Smart at [email protected] so that these can be resolved before the remote meetings on 12th October.

Appointments can be made from 12.00 noon Tuesday 28th September and will close at 12.00 noon on Monday 11th October. Please only book one parent slot per pupil as there are a limited number of booking slots available.

Pupils do not accompany their parents to the remote meeting.

I would suggest that you book your appointment slots quickly in order to secure times that suit you best. It would be appreciated if you could keep the conversations short as the five minutes per pupil will disappear quickly. We hope the opportunity to speak with staff will be beneficial for you and will continue to foster positive working relationships between home and school.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs S Kelly

Principal
