Learning for Life and Work
Learning for Life and Work (LLW) is central to helping young people develop the fundamental skills, knowledge, qualities and dispositions that are pre-requisites for life and work.
In Learning for Life and Work the pupils study three strands on a carousel basis each year. These are: Employability, Local and Global Citizenship and Home Economics.
Each component will last 12 weeks.
In Citizenship and Employability the pupils will complete an assessment piece during the 12 week period.
In Home Economics the pupils will complete a written test and a practical that will make up their grade.
All students in KS3 will get a homework once a fortnight.
At KS4 students will be given a homework once a week.
Key Points To Success:
Pupils must be hard-working and willing to actively engage in their learning.
Pupils must ensure that they complete all tasks to a high standard.
Pupils should be revising regularly in order to achieve their potential.
