Alternative Awarding Arrangements 2021
On 6th January 2021, the Minister for Education, Peter Weir, announced the cancellation of CCEA GCSE, AS and A Level examinations. In place of CCEA examinations in summer 2021, a student’s grade in a subject will be based on the professional assessment by their school of the evidenced standard at which they are performing. These will be known as Centre Determined Grades (CDGs). A similar approach has been adopted by other Examination Boards for subjects studied by our pupils (eg AQA, WJEC, OCR, Pearson).
Results days:
Tuesday 10th August 2021: AS and A2
Thursday 12th August 2021: GCSE
