A Message from the Principal
Principal Brendan McComb, reflecting on his first full year in the role, shared his thoughts:
“I could not be prouder of our students and their achievements this year. These outstanding results are a testament to their determination, talent and resilience, and reflect the dedication of our teaching and support staff. Achieving a 14% increase in A*–C grades compared to last year is an incredible step forward, and a clear sign of the collective effort from everyone in the St Mary’s community.
At St Mary’s, we are blessed with a community that truly works together—pupils, staff, and parents alike. I want to pay tribute to our parents and carers for their encouragement, and to our staff for going above and beyond, from early morning and evening revision sessions to giving up weekends and holidays. Today is a day of celebration for the entire St Mary’s family, and I have every confidence that our leavers will go on to even greater success at university, in further education, apprenticeships, and beyond.”
Congratulations to all students, staff, and families on a truly outstanding year at St Mary’s Christian Brothers’ Grammar School.
