Sad news of the death of Betty Mulvenna

We have just received the sad news of the passing of our dear friend and retired colleague Elizabeth (Betty ) Mulvenna. Aged 90 years. Betty passed away peacefully at her home on Friday Feb 26th.

Her funeral mass was celebrated online on Monday 1st March.

Betty was a much-loved member of staff who worked as a secretary/ receptionist at both Barrack Street and Glen Rd sites for many years until her retirement in 1996 when Barrack Street closed.

She was a mother figure for all, staff and pupils and her unassuming and very obliging nature endeared to everyone who knew her.

Our Lady of Perpetual Succour pray for her.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis .

Mass cards and letters of condolence can be sent by post to O’Kane’s Funeral Directors. Donegall St.

Belfast BT1, 2GX and should be marked “For the attention of Ms. Josephine Mulvenna”
