Recently, the Parent, Teacher and Friends Association organised their annual quiz for the school community in support of Lighthouse Charity.
The night proved to be a huge success with an excellent mixture of parents, past pupils, friends and current and former staff of St Mary’s making up some very competitive, and some not so competitive teams!
The Quiz challenged and engaged our revellers all in a jovial and entertaining atmosphere and as the night approached the latter hours, three teams edged in front to battle out the final rounds.
The overall winning team was ‘The Hateful Eight’, who, following a stewards’ enquiry into the amount of members on the team, were awarded the overall title of Quiz Champions for the night.
A great night was enjoyed by all with over £300 raised for Lighthouse Charity and pupil awards.
The night would not have been possible without the generous contribution of prizes from parents, staff and local businesses.
